My name is Sarah Sintich and I have been teaching at Loganville High School for fourteen years. Before becoming a teacher, I worked as an Athletic Trainer at a local clinic and covered all sporting events for an area high school. My background in the medical field has definitely aided my teaching and helped to provide my students with examples of how the information we learn in class relates to the the real world and how our bodies work.
I am a 3-time graduate of the University of Georgia, with a Bachelors degree in Exercise Science, Masters degree in Science Education, and a Specialist in Science Education.
In my time at UGA, I had the privilege of taking several classes on St. Catherine's Island off the coast of Georgia. I participated in sea turtle rescue and conservation. The picture to the left is me holding two endangered baby Loggerhead sea turtles before we released them to sea. One of the many cool things we got to be apart of on St. Catherine's Island.
My husband Mark and I live in Loganville and have a beautiful daughter, Elise and our dog is Ripley.
